On Saturday, I checked out Davenport, CA with the SFBAS flickr group. The location is about 1.5 hours away from San Francisco, down Highway 1. The above is a an overview photo of the abandoned piers, off the edge of a steep cliff. Unfortunately, there was no safe way to get down for a closer look. There's a lot of nice spots around Davenport for landscape photos, if you don't mind a little hiking. All photos were taken with a Nikon D90 and 18-70mm lens. Click to check out the full gallery!
