Yes, do vote February 5th. I am so awake. I had 3 cups of coffee to get through work today. And a cup of tea to relax myself.. ugh, which led me to make a banner. Just a quick 15 minutes in Photoshop. Does the white hair give me that political look?

Economic Stimulus Plan
I'm sick at home reading the news online, and this caught my eye:
Sources on Capitol Hill and at the Treasury Department said the plan would send checks of $600 to individuals and $1,200 to couples who paid income tax and who filed jointly.
People who did not pay federal income taxes but who had earned income of more than $3,000 would get checks of $300 per individual or $600 per couple.
A Democratic aide and Republican aide said there will be an additional amount per child, which could be in the neighborhood of $300.

I honestly don't know what to do with $600... (at the moment)

End of The World
A shot of yesterday's sunset in Half Moon Bay. I tilted the horizon to make it look more interesting, versus the standard sunset shot. The streak right above the sun looked like a crash, so I thought "hey, let me shift the earth's gravity!"

Digital Photo Pro Magazine
I received my first Digital Photo Pro magazine in the mail this week. I never really got around to reading books on photography, except the camera instruction manual if that counts. I tend to just experiment on my own and figure things out. Sometimes I will research and discuss topics online, which results in some good and some bad advice. Just like everything else, improvement takes hands-on practice.
I decided to subscribe to DPP magazine because it has a pretty good balance between nice photos to look at, reviews, and photoshop tricks. Other US published magazines seem to just be filled with ads. UK published magazines (priced higher and doubled in pages) are also worth checking out.
