Jerad's Fishes

I took these shots with my Tamron 28-75mm. While not a macro lens, some of the shots came out nice.. though they could be sharper. The challenging part was chasing the fishes, as they kept hiding. Al servo works great on the Canon 40D to constantly auto-focus on moving subjects.

Pier 14 Revisited (in Photoshop)

I took the below photo about a month ago. The colors turned out better after fixing the white balance and desaturating the image. Someone also suggested a different perspective of omitting the bottom right pier light (as it draws attention), so I cropped two versions while still following the rule of thirds and maintaining a wide frame.

Version 1: More Pier / foreground and pier lights emphasized.



Version 2: Less Pier / bridge and sky emphasized
