SF International Auto Show

The show takes place every year at the Moscone Center, showcasing the latest auto makes and models. This was my first time going. It's good I went late on a weeknight because hardly anyone was there. No tripod or flash used on these photos. Some highlights from the show:

SF Auto Show

Hoegaarden Beer

I never thought I would find these at a grocery store, since they barely carry them at the bars and clubs. About $7 for a six pack at Whole Foods Market. Still my favorite beer right now even though I can't pronounce it!



I should have added some water droplets to make the bottle look more chill. Oh well..

JDM Theory 2nd Annual Toy Drive

This past Sunday I went down to Union City to check out the car meet / toy drive organized by Nor Cal Tuners. There were a lot of cars, toys, and some raffle prizes too. LowTec, PlusOne & other familiar faces were all at the event.

Camera Bags

A Tamrac Expedition 4 photo backpack is on it's way to replace my current camera bag, a Lowepro Slingshot 200AW. Shoulder bags are really unbalanced when carrying a full load, and you were stuck carrying this bag on the same right shoulder (non-interchangeable). The zipper on my bag also ripped. The Tamrac is quite a chunk of change at over $100, when you can get a cheaper Canon EG200 for less than $40 with the same amount of space. However, I opted for the tougher material since I'm carrying more gear these days.

Pier 14

Since there was fog in Daly City, I go where the fog don't go.. the pier! Taken late last night around 9:45pm. I went with fellow photographer Alex, the guy behind Genexe.com. We were kicked out shortly after, as the pier closes at 10. It's funny because I work around the area and have never noticed this futuristic looking pier before. I guess you can find some cool spots just by prowling around at night.

Hot Challenge

Yesterday I did a photo shoot with Hot Challenge, a local rock band in the San Francisco bay area. Two of the four band members are my co-workers, which is how I found out about them. I saw them perform live once at BrainWash Cafe & Laundromat a few months back and they are good! Look out for their album release. They also do live performances at different SF venues if you ever want to check them out!
